Monday, April 6th

We now offer at home delivery within a 15 mile radius of GlazeyDayz. Deliveries are $5 for orders over $25 and FREE for orders over $75.00.

Thursday, March 26th

Ladies Night for March 27th is cancelled in In light of the Corvid-19 situation, we regret that this month's Ladies Night is cancelled. There's still time to order from our on-line store and pickup curbside a project to keep your creativity flowing for a Ladies' Night in. All orders placed on-line can be picked up curbside between 12pm-3pm tomorrow. We've put our thinking caps on and hope to offer a virtual Ladies' Night soon. Stay tuned!!

Friday, March 20th

We can only provide on-line curbside delivery to our customers based on the latest guidance. The studio will be closed to the public but we will be here. Order your kit, your piece and your paint or glazes on-line and pickup at the studio. Pick-up hours are 12pm - 3pm just call when you get here and we'll bring your order out. If you need a special time for pick up call us for special arrangements.

How "To Go" and a la Carte Works

Ceramics TO GO Kits

1. Pick what you want from our Store and order on-line.

2. Your item will be ready to be picked up within 30 minutes of order during normal business hours.

3. You can come in to the studio to collect your item or call us at (860) 274-9946 and we'll deliver curbside.

4. Paint your item at home with the paints provided in the TO GO kit. Please be aware you must use these paints and not any other paints. You can use any paintbrush that you have at home as the paint can be totally washed out.

5. After you paint the item bring it back to Glazey Dayz at your convenience for glazing and firing with no additional charges. Again, if you want us to pick up curbside, check our open hours and just call us when you get curbside!

Ceramics a la Carte Items

1. Select an item from our Store and order on line.

2. Go to the Paints section and select the paint colors and the size that you need. Select your first color and then the quantity (S 1/8 oz, M 1/4 oz, L 1.25oz, XL 2oz) and click the add to cart button. If you want a second color from the same color family just select it, the size and again hit add to cart. Do this until you have all your colors.

3. Use your own paintbrushes and only the colors from Glazey Dayz in order to make sure you piece comes out as expected.

4. Remember, 1 coat gives a very light covering (like a water color), 2 coats you will give you more coverage but you will see brush strokes. 3 coats is what you need for a very opaque finish.

Clay TO GO Kits

1.Pick what you want from our Store and order on-line.

2. Your item will be ready to be picked up within 30 minutes of order during normal business hours.

3. You can come in to the studio to collect your item or call us at (860) 274-9946 and we'll deliver curbside.

4. Once you get home, watch the video that Heather created with all the steps on how to create the project. This video will be available on Heather's You Tube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=glazey+dayz. Watch how it is done and follow as you go along.

5. Once the piece is created let it dry for 2 days. It is now considered greenware and will be very delicate so be very careful with it. The kit will provide paint that you can paint the piece with after it has dried for a minimum of 2 days. Paint the piece. only with the provided paint, and let dry. This is a special paint that will eliminate the need for the item to be bisque fired first and will not require a second visit back to paint.

6.Put it it in the container that was provided (very delicately) and bring it back to the studio for glazing and firing no additional charges. Again, if you want us to pick up curbside, check our open hours and just call us when you get curbside!

Our customer's health and safety is of utmost importance to us. In light of the recent events taking place locally regarding the Coronavirus, Glazey Dayz would like you to know that we are taking this very seriously. We are taking additional precautions and cleaning measures.

We will continue to be open during our normal business hours. Any piece in our studio may be purchased and brought home to paint if you prefer to paint in your own home. We also carry "To Go" kits for kids.

For now we ask all of you for your compliance in keeping everyone healthy and safe. If you have any of the following symptoms please do not visit the studio:

Fever, Runny Nose, Cough, Shortness of breath or Flu-like symptoms

My heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all my loyal and supportive customers. I wish that in this new decade and New Year you have good health, joy and happiness. In 2020 we are making some changes at Glazey Dayz!

Website: Please see our new site @www.glazeydayz.com. The site has so many advanced capabilities from our last one. You can book your own parties in our private room or in-studio selecting the date and time you would like and paying online with a credit card.

Subscribe: You are receiving this communication as in the past you provided your contact information. I would like to request that if you are still a patron of Glazey Dayz and you want to be made aware of new events, specials, new techniques and products (as well as special offers and coupons), please go to our home page and SUBSCRIBE. When you subscribe you will receive a 25% off studio fees at Glazey Dayz that can be used within 30 days of subscribing. New Hours: Open studio hours are changing to make more time for pouring our unique and hard to find molds. We are adding a late night on Saturday to give you even more opportunities to come out with your kids, family or friends. We received a lot of inquiries regarding a late night for Saturday so we added it to the schedule and will see how it goes. (Hours: Monday & Tuesday closed. Wednesday: 11am to 6pm. Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 11am to 9pm. Sunday: 11pm to 6pm.

Parties - Let us put the ART in PARTY! Our Party offering leaves you with nothing to do but book the party and just bring cake. Your party may be booked on-line, at your convenience. We will take care of the party from set up to clean providing pizza, juice boxes or water and all required paper products. Your child and their friends will have the best party selecting the ceramic piece they want to paint and painting with their friends. We provide a commemorative birthday plate with your child’s name and the names of all their party guests.

Scouting: We have a comprehensive scout program. We can set up an event where your scouts will learn about pottery and create something from clay slab or ceramics.
