Service Description

Bring your troop to the studio to learn about the methods of ceramics. They will get an overview of the ceramic process. The Glazey Dayz staff will teach them the basic methods of painting on ceramics, the difference in paint colors unfired and fired and explain the whole process from start to finish. Glazey Dayz will provide the hands on steps to enable your scout to earn the appropriate badge if that is the intent. Cost: -$8 per scout plus the cost of the ceramic piece they select. What you get: 1. 1.5 hours of studio time. 2. A dedicated Glazey Dayz staff member that will guide the scouts through the process and provide creative assistance along the way. 3. Studio time, paint, glazing and firing are included in the pricing (ceramic pieces are additional). 4. Individually wrapped pieces for pickup. 5. Glazey Dayz Certificate that the scout has learned about the basics of ceramic painting. How it works 1. Classes are by reservation only and require a minimum of 8 scouts. 2. If you would like pre-selected pieces to chose from, please indicate on the form when you reserve. 3. Party package is priced for children ages 5 to 16. Painters over the age of 16 will be charged normal adult painting fees. 4. To reserve the Scout Painting Party a $50 deposit is required to reserve the date and time slot. The $50 will be applied to the final bill on the day of the event. The deposit is not refundable. 5. All parties must b accompanied by an adult. 6. If minimum number of 8 is not reached day of the party, a $15 no show fee will be applied per no show up to 8. 7. Encourage your guests to arrive 10 minutes before the event as we will need to start the session on time, and it is important to be present to learn what each scout will need to do. 8. A $50 fee per 1/2 hour will apply for parties extended over the allotted time. 9. Glazey Dayz will close during inclement weather, we will make accommodations to reschedule for a mutual convenient date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for Parties If this is a party, and the party host has to cancel the party, the $50 deposit will be forfeited. In the event of an illness or unforeseen event you must contact the studio to reschedule for a later date. Please see our Store Policies. If this is a Table Reservation that is being cancelled the reservation fee will be forfeited.
